Jo, you will absolutely adore Indian Creek. We have stayed there on numerous occassions and find the location is perfect for going to the parks, to eat, to shop, and be alittle secluded away from the traffic.
We love the Outback Steakhouse as you enter the carpark into the Winn Dixie complex at the top of Formosa Gardens Boulavard, also out on the 192 we normally breakfast at Denny's or Perkins, which unfortunately are on the west carriageway but a quick flip at the lights get you there.
To help cut down the congession on some of the lights use the Fernie Steed road to cut behind the 192, don't panic as its a sand road as its normal for off the beaten track in Florida, it is graded each day.
Check out Google maps and click on satalite veiew and you will see what I mean.
Which side of the Beltway is your villa as the estate is disected (don't panic). The side over the bridge is the newer development.

Up on the 192, a huge selection
see here for the closest on the 192, you might want to go a little further east on the 192 for even more.

Hi Jo
We stayed at Indian Creek last year - you've got a great selection of restaurants nearby. There's Outback Steakhouse, TGIs, Red Lobster for evening meals and Cracker Barrel, IHOP, Dennys for breakfast or evening meals! Excellent location - have a fantastic holiday.
IHOP for breakfast is brilliant value and you get so much! :D
Just a 'ditto' to the above. Stayed there 3 times, and it's very close to WDW (as described, use the Sherberth Rd shortcut to get to the parks). Loads of restaurants etc nearby (although none walkable).

I dont know what side of the bridge we are on but the number of the villa is 8088 does it make a difference.
Indian Creek is very well located with tons of restaurants and as previously mentioned a supermarket which will have everything you need but it's more expensive than some.
The Outback and Carrabas were well visited when we stayed there!
For breakfast, you will have to drive a bit but not too far.
