Yes it's good for kids, they have a few games for them. You can see wishes from there but it's a bit far imo. You could always walk down to the beach at the Poly and view wishes from there. Also if you time it right there is the Electric Water Pageant, which is cute.

Great for kids, and big kids. The interaction between Stitch, all characters and the kids is unreal. They take their time with all guest staying for photos and then there is the parade with the kids playing instruments. Highly recommended

Another nice Character meal close to MK is Chef Mickeys at the Contemporary. Also good fun.

ASFAIK there are no characters at the evening meal hun.

We went last August and the kids loved it with the singing and coconut racing around the restaurant.

We were in a big group and had a large table in the centre of the restaurant.

At 9pm we just all turned our chairs towards the window and watched Wishes.

It was our last night and was a perfect end to our holiday.

Food is fab too. Esp the cheesy potato!!!

The evening is a lot different to the breakfast and is not a character meal. However it is one of our most favourite resturaunts. Our kids are quite fussy so the chef prepared as much chicken nuggets and fries as they could eat. An excellent choice. I have attached Bob and Dawns thread that gives a better explanation and some pictures

Oh that looks good ! I have booked a bit early for Wishes i suppose as it is for 7pm but i didn't want to risk them running late and the kids getting hungry and ratty . At least if we miss the fireworks from the restaurant we can maybe go down to the beach and watch them ? I am lookng forward to it now !

You will love it the food is fantastic, just one tip make sure you are absolutley starving when you go and also pace yourself. They will have to roll you out of the resturaunt

Carys we ate in Kona one night at the Poly and after finishing, exDH went outside for a cigarette - he came charging back in grabbing me and saying "come quick" - I was a bit miffed as I was mooching in the art shop there :d: but went and what he wanted me to see was an absolutely superb view of Wishes from the pool area at the Poly. :D
We wandered ahead and got possibly the best view I have ever had - so I highly recommend it. If it's not bad weather you can just about hear the music too.

I am booking the breakfast again, as it was one of the best meals for us. We cancelled our evening ADR because the kids were too tired. I am now torn between booking Ohana again for Dinner or trying the Cali grill. Decisions decisions. :wavey:
