Very nice and great value. A pleasant change from the usual fast food and buffet offerings with plenty of choice.
8 days, nice :D but where's your countdown?

We all love Sweet Tomatoes. It was our fav off-site place to eat. On our first trip we ate there every few days to balance the stodge!
The variety is huge and I just loved the soups, yummy!
Thanks very much, loadsapixiedust - wife's got the countdown on her DIBB account!! :)

The range of salad and healthy stuff is amazing, unfortunatly I'm a fussy eater and only like tomatoes, cucumber and lettuce, so leaves me with a pretty boring meal! All looks fantastic though, and very fresh.

..but they also have about five varieties of soup, three pastas, three pizzas/garlic breads, ordinary breads and fresh fruit and/or ice cream for desert - after the salads!
I think its great and I enjoy my meat in Florida!
We're also BIG fans of this restaurant. Don't go too heavy on the salad to start with, as there's sooooooo much more to try after that :D

we love sweet tomatoes and its such good value at $8.99 for a dinner buffet, the salad alone is worth that.
try and leave room for the dessert, the apple cobbler is to die for!

Yes its fab - all lovely salads and things then breads, pizza, pasts and desserts which are all help yourself!
I only wish they would open up here!!
We love it as well -my DH raves about the soups, I love it because I can make up my own salads as I don't like a lot of dressings etc. There can be quite big queues depending on what time you go but they have always been very organised about getting tables cleared and getting people seated so don't be too put off about a long queue. :)

We went to sweet tomatoes last year for the first time, dh wasn't too keen as he loves meat and thought he was just getting a salad! He was so shocked as he loved everything and couldn't believe the choice of different foods. We plan to eat there every few days on this trip as all the family enjoyed it. If you register on their website they email you discount coupons within 24hrs!
Sounds fab i try to be as healthy as poss when we are there always have jacket pots or salad with steaks etc so will deffo give it a go but we are taking my 5 year old cousin and he is a bit fussy just likes the usual kids fare do they cater for that ?

The salad part is great, but the part of the buffet that you mention isn't great compared to others in my opinion. I just end up eating pizza... So again, fussy eater, boring meal.
But go to the place if you like a big range of fresh salads!
we also love this place and go a few times every trip if you go in afternoon it is a bit cheaper than the evenings and it is the same choice of food.

I love it  my DH hates it (no beer!) :(
I was looking forward to this but wasn't pleased. It was crowded, no tables for 6 meaning I had to sit at the end, the meal was rushed with staff whipping plates away before we'd finished. The food wasn't that good either.
As I said, I had been looking forward to it but I wouldn't go again.

I wish. :( We are going to see HM 3D in Glasgow at the Braehead Odeon.
Havew you seen the current Sweet Toms menu?
Yummy menu! (http://www.souplantation.com/locations/restaurant.asp?store_id=72&store_name=Orlando_1)
Pick up your plate when you go in and go down either side for your salad (they are both they same). Pick up a clear glass for water only or a blue-ish glass for all other drinks. Pay for your meal, grab a seat and then go check out the other food counters. :tounge:
Hope you have a fab trip!!
It is excellent and the value is terrific. The salads are fresh and delicious and there are lots of soups and pasta dishes to fill up on as well as breads and muffins. There is soft serve ice cream as well as fruit and a hot dessert. It is an absolute must do every time. Its no wonder it is in the top 10 on Tripadvisor. Great restaurant and great food!

I quite fancied going here but have one very fussy DD & I didn't know if she would enjoy it. Some of you have mentioned pizza, but I can't see any mention of that on the website menus - can anyone confirm whether they usually have any pizza?
(I know she can have that anywhere, but the rest of us could enjoy the rest of the buffet!!)
We have been about three times and each time they did have pizza.

We love it here - we've been to the I-drive one at least once a trip and last year we went to one in Tampa on our way back from the Bucs game - same good quality and cheap price!
Freckles - every time I've been they've had pizza (at both restaurants!) so your DD should be okay. My DD likes some salad and loves pizza and garlic bread so she was fine. They also do wicked cookies that DD had FOUR of when we went to the Tampa one! :erm:

We love this restaurant, lovely selection of salads etc. The soups are delish!
The chicken noodle soup has about 5 chickens in it, lovely big chunks of meat.
Hoping to try the Sunday menu for the first time this visit.

We love sweet tomatoes, lovely choice of salads, and hot soup, jacket potatoes, fresh cooked pasta, pizza, fresh bread and delicious cakes and puds.
Might seem like a daft question but do they do any meats on the salad bar?
Dh would not go for soup and salad and doesn't like pasta.
Thanks

The best variety at a great price. very fresh and tasty.
Two words - Apple Cobbler!!!!!! MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
You have to be ready for it though as it goes almost as quickly as they can keep putting it out.
The salad is really good too.
