We leave home on 13th March and need to get DS aged 8 some footwear other than just his trainers. He has wide (G/H) and very smelly feet so usually go to Clarks for leather sandals in the summer, but the UK shops do not have any stock yet. Spoke to Clarks customer services today, and it is unlikely I will be able to buy before I fly, so will need to shop in Orlando. Any suggestions?

How about mini boden? 28 pds and adjustable width with velcro. My son had some last year and they were good.

There is a Clarkes shop in Florida Mall. Not sure if they stock kiddies sandals though, you would have to check with them. I was too busy looking at the womens shoes lol.

I have over the years got DS & DD some nice ones in Walmart. DS does not like sandals (not cool at 14yrs), but I insist when we are over in Florida for the same reason. So last year we got a cheap pair in Walmart and just didn't bring them home.

I bought the kids sandeas in Decathlon last year, do you have one near you? I have one child with skinny feet and one with wide feet and found them both sandals to fit and at a reasonable cost too.

I have just bought some sandals for DS8 in Cotswold Outdoor. they are Teva so good quality and seem to be fairly flexible.

Hi Both of my sons have very wide feet both are a g/h fitting. Try tescos for sandals they have got the summer stock in and they have the velco adjustable sandals in generally a good wide fit.

We always buy our DS some Nike sandals from the Nike outlet, they are great for wide feet come in black and are in a wet suit type material so great if they get their feet wet as easily dry. Our DS loves them as they are quite trendy apparently, not your usuall sandal.
I love them as they are quite cheep around $15.

All the sports outlets Nike, Reebok etc stock sandals, also the Converse outlet at LBV had some trendy styles. I don't think you'll have a problem finding nice sandals for your DS.

I went in Clarks last Friday to check if they have any sandals in yet as we go soon too. They had some girl's sandals in although it was a limited selection, so would think they would have boys in too. They definitely had a selection of Doodles too.

My DD has H fitting in Clarks and they very rarely have anything in a sandal to fit her. Last year she had CROCS and she wouldn't wear anything else. I am on the hunt now for cheap genuine crocs for both of us at the moment.

We've bought ours in Brantano in March in the past. Not a big selection but you might get lucky :)
Now it's crocs for the kids & I make do with last year's - I usually buy in the end of season sales for me :D
