Planet Hollywood - On Site or off?

DS aged 15 wants to go to both Planet Hollywood and Hard Rock Cafe.

Is there a price difference between going to PH in Hollywood Studios or Lake Buena Vista?

I am assuming the atmosphere will be the same.

There is one at DTD and a HRC at Universals Citywalk.

We've been to the PH at DTD and seen the HRC at Citywalk but don't know about one anywhere else.

I would recommend staying awy from PH it has gone down hill in the last few years. But the Hard Rock is Great :grin:

I think there is a Planet Hollywood shop in Disney Studios.

one of the worst meals we've had in florida was at PH sorry!!

We had a meal in PH in December and it was brilliant. The food was hot, tasty, the place was very clean, the servers were great, so have to say give it a try. I'm not one who will eat any old thing, but had a chicken and avacado bun, with salad and fries, and it was gorgeous. The only thing that I could fault were the tables being crammed in too close together.

My teenage son has his heart set on both PH and HRC, so there is no way I can miss either of them out.

I would avoid PH and go to HRH. In PH it is so crammed for space and the service was poor - totally different to HRH as we thought it was superb - them memorabilia at HRH is far more impressive than PH

Unfiortunately, you could tell me that Planet Hollywood food gave you all Food Poisoning - DS15 would still want to go there!

He has never been to one at all so if the atmosophere isn't as good as the one in London or as it was a few years ago, he really won't know the difference.

We ate at Planet Hollywood in September and the food and atmosphere was great.
Ate in HardRock the year before and loved the food, though they rushed us quite a lot so didn't enjoy it that much.

Its fine some people don't like it but some people don't like disney either everyone is different. I've been to PH every time I've been to Florida and France. Loved it every time.

Me too loved the atmosphere and the food (was in 2004) thought it better than Hard Rock :wavey:
