Heylo…

We are heading to Liverpool on Friday for 3 days for the Liverpool v Newcastle match but as of yet have no tickets :nonono: We will more than likely, unless we get tickets, be watching the match in a pub.

Anyone have any suggestions or must do’s for Liverpool?

Thanks…

Beatles Museum..Magical Mystery tour...Ferry across the Mersey...Albert Dock...There is a lot to do in Liverpool now...the Liverpool football stadium tour is also very good.
And with it being Capital of Culture Year I can imagine that there is a lot more going on.

Im ashamed to say I lived in Liverpool all my life (almost 40 years) and have only recently discovered The Art Gallery and The Maritime Museum...really interesting.
The Liverpool Duck may be of interest to you to - as its a boat tour and a bus tour around the City.

The Anfield tour is also good as others have already said.

Have a great weekend whatever you decide :spin:

Ferry across the Mersey, Maritime Museum, Liverpool Museum, Beatles Museum, Cavern Club etc

There's so much to do in Liverpool. You definately need to go on the 'Duck' - it's a cross between a bus tour and a boat ride!

There's loads of great shops, amazing restaurants and wonderful architecture too.

Not too mad about shopping, esp with the rate of Euro to sterling :pgig:

There's even a ghost tour that goes from the Philharmonic pub!, locally known as "the Phil", (but the pubs very nice too ;) )

I'll be down the road from the Phil tomorrow - but I've got an exam 10 - 12

Hope you have a brill time in Liverpool.

There's the Krazy House on Wood Street, The Jacuranda and Bar Cava.

Enjoy Liverpool! You can go up the Radio City tower for a tour, that's something I want to do!!

This is something that we did a few years back, definately worth it. Teriffic views around the city.

Were going to the Liverpool Heritage Market this Sunday, is it worth a visit?

Well we went and we're back, thanks for all the suggestions :thumbs-up

We had a great time, Chris and his brother got tickets for the match and that was the main reason for our visit as it was Chris's birthday trip. I didn't go to the match as I would have been sitting on mine own, I would have gone otherwise to experience it!

We did the Beatles tour and I really enjoyed it. We didn't go nuts going out. Had a couple of drinks in Aldos, Lennons n the Cavern which was cool. Didn't try the Krazy House as we didn't go out out properly just had the couple of drinks, but Chris said he was in there the last time he was in Liverpool for a match and said it was good :)

So maybe the next time we are over we can arrange a mini Dibb evening out

Me too, but once all the work is completed I expect I'll be spending more time going to the city centre than the Trafford Centre :).

If your looking for things for kids in Liverpool take a trip to Underwater Street well worth a visit. cost of entry is £5.95 per person during school holidays but cheaper when the kids are at school for taking the pre schoolers. it is situated across the road from the pier head next to the liver buildings.
