Any restaurants a low ratio on the kid front does anyone know?
You tend to get less children at the Signature restaurants, not sure why though? Although they all cater for children on the menu and they are welcome.
I think V&A's now has a policy of no children under 9 (I think).
I would say that offsite - places like Season's 52 and Tchoup Chop would be less likely to have children there as they are fine dining experiences.

They are welcome everywhere but for off site options you'll see less at places like Season's 52, Ruth Chris, Metling Pot, Charlie's Steakhouse....in other words, the more expensive eateries. There are some good options on Sand Lake Road in the Dr. Phillips area....known as restaurant row.
If you want to go to a bar/lounge take a look at Blue Martini (http://www.bluemartinilounge.com/orlhome.htm) as it is really popular here. They serve a small menu (starters) so you can eat but they don't focus on that.
It is located at the Mall at Millenia and they do require fashionable/Dress Attire so it isn't a casual spot.

Tchoup Chop was full of children in December.
The best bet is to dine later - most children left Tchoup Chop by 8:30. Same at Wolfgang Puck's
Our best meal last year was at the California Grill on top of the Contemporary, excellent service, and watching the Hallowishes fireworks with a glass of champagne was superb!!!!(I never realised how far behind the castle the fireworks were let off!!!)
Try a romantic sunset picnic!!!!
Better than any restaurant if you ask me.
Find the right location and away you go. ha ha

Probably safer at the more expensive or posher type of restaurant.
I generally don't mind kids in restaurants as long as they behave but sometimes you just want to get away from them in an adult enviroment.
