View Full Version : DLP Offsite, few Qs!

I'm going to book us a short break staying near to DLP (am using Tesco vouchers so am going to book with French Life and stay here....) http://www.frenchlife.co.uk/uce/fl?action=readParentDetails&cottageParentId=387732&startdate=&duration=&sleeps=4&propertyTypeId=3 . We'll be driving and going via Eurotunnel.

I last went to DLP in March 2003 (I think!) and wasn't over impressed (DH got spat on for refusing to let a teenager push in front of us for Space Mountain, and my asthmatic mum had someone stood behind her in queue blowing cigarette smoke into her hair, blurgh), but I'm hoping that with the kids it will be a little more attractive (plus there are more attractions now and I'm DESPERATE for a Disney fix).

I have a few questions as I'm ignorant when it comes to DLP etc here we go!

1. I've heard you can book ADRs. Can you still do this if you're staying offsite? If so what number do I need to call?

2. Where is worth booking an ADR for? I'm thinking about a character lunch or tea. I wouldn't bother with anything without characters as it's for DD (who loves them!).

3. Can I find out about height restrictions for rides before we go, and if so, where from? Also opening hours?

4. Where do I find out the cost of annual passes?

5. Do they still allow smoking in all areas of the park, including queues?

6. Any ideas if week beginning 21st April has anything going on? Is it schools hols or anything?

That's it for now, if you could help with any of my questions I'd greatly appreciate it :)

Plaza Gardens afternoon tea charachter meal is lovely, more space than in other restaurants. Also Lucky Nugget charachter lunch was fab. Buffalo Bills show in Disney Village is great, dont miss it.

We like Cafe Mickey's for either breakfast or dinner. Great atmosphere and characters.
