when we went 3 years ago we ate in raceroak more times then anywere else ( my DS loved it in there he is car mad and perfect for him) the food was good and the atmosphere was brill.... why oh why has it shut down..some one tell me pls... my DS is so disapointed that he can't go in there. boo hoo :cry:

Sorry can't help with why its shut, but if you're going to Universal why not try the new Nascar themed restaurant. Not that I've been mind (can't be that bad me thinks), but it could appease your DS what with being cars and all.

We were gutted too, but went to Nascar at Universsal as vinamtaylor suggests.

It's not as well themed as Race Rock, but has cars outside and memorobilia inside. Food was very nice though.

racerock closed down just before we went last year and i was so gutted. It was one place I really wanted to visit :(

Agree with everyone that I'm sad to see the close of this place. Was always on our list of places to eat everytime we went, and got some great pictures from in there. Really good food too. Such a shame.

I used to love RaceRock too!! - especially the Monster Truck outside...

Went to Nascar at Universal a couple of years back but the service we had was awful so dont think we'll ever head back there.... rude, unfriendly and uninterested I think were how we summed up our waiter after leaving.

We loved Racerock too, especially DH. Very sad to hear it had closed down.

We ate here on the last night it was open, and it was great, :tounge: went back the next night not knowing and it was closed :cry:

We were gutted that Race Rock shut too, the food was really good and the whole atmosphere was excellent.
