Has anyone done one of these?

I've heard that the priority seating for the show is right at the back and you don't get a good view.

Also what time do you need to book dinner? Do you save time by doing this or is it better to grab some fast food and go to the show with the crowds?

Which restaurant would you recommend - we have 4 kids and 4 adults!

With your party, I would recommend Hollywood & Vine as it's a buffet dinner with lots to suit everyone.
Time wise will depend on what time Fantasmic is showing and when you want to eat. remember even with the Fantasmic package it's advisable to arrive 45 minutes before the show starts.

If you look here there is a picture showing the seating for the Fantasmic Dining Package, it's on the near side of the theatre.

We always book this and find it very helpful ! You have to ring and book and leave a credit card detail but you can cancel up to 48 hrs before. Seating times are quite early up until 5 30 i believe. With 4 kids i would personally book Holywood and Vine which is a buffet style and plenty of kids choice. You are given a ticket to go to the show and a separte entrance and seating area which allows you to be last in and first out . I definately think it is worth it as at busy times people can show up 2 hours early !

My favourite restaurant is Sci Fi Diner so I dont use this option, I have visited many times over August, Sept and June and always showed up about 40minsi advance and got great seats so never found that I needed this, however if you plan on eating in one of the retaurants used anyway, it makes sense to do it :) xx

We've got the Hollywood & Vine Fantasmic package booked for this July, it will be our 3rd visit - we love the variety of food on the buffet and we have always had a great waitress.

And it's nice to walk the short cut to the reserved seats, we have had fab seats both times :thumbs-up

I would recommend H&V ;)

I booked Hollywood and Vine for 5 of us - it was very good.

They section off a piece of the theatre for the reserved seats but they go all the way from the front to the back (well it did when I went anyway) - I sat about 3/4 way back and had a very good view. :wavey:

we booked a dinner package at hollywood and vine when we went reserved seating was on the right hand side of the stage as you looked at it from the front with a dinner package you get let in a side door near to hollywood and vine and then you walk up a path and its straight in front of you.
we couldnt complain at the seats they were fine

We booked H&V FP and I must admit (sorry) I wouldn't again. We didn't think the meal was great but we did get front row seats (way to right though) at the show. But unfortunately - it rained that evening and my god it rained. I think that spoiled the whole memory thing... :erm:

Enjoy the show as it is FAB.......
