Do you think it's necessary to make ADR's for October. Having never been before in October we are unsure. People keep telling us that the parks are not busy at this time of year.

We feel that booking ADR's might tie you to that park for that day, do others feel the same.

Yes yes yes
Do make ADR's if you really want to eat at a certain place.

We were there 2 years ago in Oct and will be there this Oct and thank goodness we did or we would not have got in.

They are quieter but I would not take a chance, we will book Chef Mickey, Whispering Canyon, Cindrellas royal table and Fantasmic.

As long as you have a park hopper ticket you can come and go from the parks so your not stuck there all day.

Book ASAP - you'll regret it if you don't.

You can always cancel if your plans are not going to plan ;)

Happy Booking.....

October has become increasingly busy over the years and is a popular time to go.

Book any that you would be disappointed not to get in at.:thumbs-up

No - they only take your CC details for ADR's like CRT and this is not charged unless you don't go and don't cancel in time.

If you are going when free disney dining is on you will have to book ADR's. We went last year with FDDP and all the restaurants were hoatching!!!

Hi, we went last year in October and we are going again this year in October, with the free DDP. The plan is so popular now that everyone is making ADR's. Don't be disappointed!!!!

Free Dining is on this year - if you arrive in the resort between a date in August , (can't remember exactly what date!!) and end of Sept you get free dining if you stay in Disney Hotel and buy park tickets. Therefore anyone arriving end of September would get their free dining for the 2 weeks or how ever long they are in the resort so it could take you up to first two weeks in October.

UK bookings for Free Dining is on this year - if you arrive in the resort between a date in August , (can't remember exactly what date!!) and end of Sept you get free dining if you stay in Disney Hotel and buy park tickets. Therefore anyone arriving end of September would get their free dining for the 2 weeks or how ever long they are in the resort so it could take you up to st least the first two weeks in October.

Most restaurants were very busy last year. Also the Americans usually get free dining which is normally around the same time as UK bookings which makes it even busier.

Only thing about booking ADR's is that it ties you to specific times and places but if you really want character meals its best to book. Even if you change your mind you can cancel with no charges.
