Hi, thought it was about time I said "hello". I've been lurking for months now.

We're going to Florida for the first time in April and I'm getting so excited now.

We're taking our daughters 4 and 1 so I'd be grateful to anyone with advice about keeping a 1 year old entertained on the flight.

Not long to go! :grin: We have a 2 year old and a 4 year old, and each year we pack a bag of presents for each of them (stickers, etch a sketch, crayons, small hard back books). On the hour, each hour, we'll see what's in the magic bag! The kids love it, and the time really does fly.

Oh, and don't forget to take some Bach's Rescue Remedy for yourself before you go! ;)

Hi Donna and welcome. The first time we went to Orlando our son was 10 months old and discovered the art of walking a week before we left the little darlling! We took it turns to walk him up and down when we could and the sky cots were invaluable. I hope you have a good flight - I must of looked stressed out as was offered more wine by the air hostess and as other half was driving took them up on the offer!! Enjoy the site. :wavey:

It wont be a quiet relaxing flight but yes a bag of entertaining goodies always works for us. We had 20 month old twins last time to entertain (lots of walks too).
