where to go for a girly non character meal (dd age 7 )

What about the Grand Floridian Cafe? It's very elegant and pretty and I'm sure they will make a great fuss of her on her birthday. They did with me and I'm a lot older than 7! ;)

Or maybe the afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian?

You can order a birthday cake to be delivered to any WDW restaurant. If you ask when you make your ADR they will give you the bakery number to call and order.
