View Full Version : Anyone been to St Lucia
Has anyone been to St lucia, We are going next October Myself DF and 2 DS 12 and 7 at time of travel. I would love to hear what people have done, and any advice people have got.
Plus I have read that you need jab when traveling to St Lucia.
Been to St Lucia twice now. Its a great place to chill, originally we were going back this year but thins havent worked out for this to happen......maybe nxt year.
We usually go Oct time as its not too hot.......late 80's early 90's.
As said dont expect to be rushing about as theres not too much to do that involves energy but plenty to see at a snails pace!!!!!!!!
Have been twice. The only advice I can give you is to chill out and relax. Everything is done at a much slower pace than over here.

We have, we went to Sandals Halycon and visited the two other Sandals (Grande/Regency) if anyone goes to either make it the Grande - the best one because of the beach. Sorry going off point there.
You will love St.Lucia, lovely Island.
We never took jabs before we went - i dont think you need any.
Have a great time xx

We went in May a few years ago - a wonderful holiday.
Where abouts are you staying?
I started to worry before we went that I was going to be bored  No way, I absolutely loved the relaxing we did together - on the beach, lounging on chairs, reading books, playing travel games I'd taken, swimming, banana boat rides, kayakking, swimming some more, eating, eating and more eating - and cocktails :cool2:
The people were SO friendly and helpful.
We had a couple of trips out - Diamond Waterfalls, cocoa plantation, the sulphur geysers, and an afternoon rum punch trip on a catamaran :d:
Absolute bliss :thumbs-up :thumbs-up

The rum tour is good! You get to try all the different drinks:)
We also went on a boat trip one evening which was nice too.
