typhoon lagoon rehab.

We are staying at All Star Movies for 3 weeks in Feb 2004(6th -27th), I have just found out that Typhoon Lagoon will be closed for the entire 3 weeeks for rehab until Feb 29th.
Does anybody now, or have any experience of whether the rehabs schedule can finish earlier than stated and the water park could be open for the last few days of our holiday. The kids are upset as this is their favourite park.

The latest news we have is that Typhoon Lagoon will be closed for rehab until February 28, 2004.

This rehab is a planned major rehab that happens each year. It may open a day or too earlier but I wouldn't bank on it.

Blizzard Beach will be open whilst TL is under rehab.

Hi,yes we have the same issue,we always go to Typhoon Lagoon.

Unfortunately thats life,so we will be hitting Wet n Wild on International Drive assuming the weather is ok.
The water is heated there and there are some fine rides for all ages.

Same here although a little earlier...don't much care for Blizzard Beach prefer TL.

We have just got back from Disney world and been to both Water parks beleive us that Blizzard Beach is far superior than Typhoon Lagoon in that there are better thrill rides, better childrens rides and less sand , missing typhoon Lagoon aint that bad honest hope you all have a wonderful holiday.:jump:

So when does this rehab on Typhoon Lagoon begin?
I leave on Thursday. Coming back on the 6th Feb.
Will it be open when I'm there?
Or fit?:confused:
