I'm planning a trip to Vegas through work. Delta are coming out the cheapest by far for Business class and I have a choice of going via JFK or Atlanta. I'm leaning towards Atlanta, as I would rather have one longer flight and then a slightly shorter one than 2 'medium' length flights, particularly for the 'home' leg which will be overnight. Has anyone ever done either of these routes?

Have you thought about flying into LA and driving up to Vegas?

It's certainly something I would consider in the future.

I have done this before on a personal trip, but it works out more expensive and as it's a Business trip I really just want to get home, rather than face the drive on the last day.

I was looking at the same flights for our upcoming trips but there are some really horrible reviews of Delta online that have put me off and they seem to have a reputation for delays and bumping a lot of people :( They are the cheapest though so I can see the attraction there but Continental seem to have a better rep as far as UK-US flights go.
