PSP console help needed!

:wave: Hi to all, hopefully this is the right place, need help for sons psp, his psp switches on has full battery charge but will not play any games etc, have tried to load and reload game to see if it works but just shows screen with settings etc on it., it does sound like it is trying to load game but nothing else happens, anyone any idea whats wrong with it, we have just replaced the screen a couple of months ago as he dropped it and that was expensive so want to see if we can get it to work.any info would be great thanks :wave: :pd

I know this will wipe anything he has saved but have you tried. System Settings - Format Memory and System Setting - Restore Default Settings

:wave: Hi I have tried what you have said but not sure if it worked as I am not to good with these things :blush: , so will wait till son comes home from school and get him to check, thanks for the info, keeping my fingers crossed it works, :wave:

Wait, Wait dont format anything!!!!!!

We have had that problem here. Its the game disk, the plastic cover has fallen in on top of the game disk, if poss try and gently get it back in line. Otherwisr new disk i'm afraid :(

:wave: Hi thanks to both of you, Itried to format it and checked disc and somewhere along the line it is now working and havnt lost any savings/data, so something worked, its always good to know that someone on the dibb will try and help thanks again :wave: :pd
