Privately Own Villas on Disney site

Hi All,
I'm looking to stay on site at disney in 2010 (way off I know) does any body own a villa on site if so could they qoute?? :pgig: :pgig:

Hi Silva :wavey: If you take a look at the Dibb villa map (http://www.thedibb.co.uk/villa-map.php)you'll see the communities where the current private villa rentals advertised on the Dibb are located. Whilst private short term rental homes are not on Disney property some communities are very close to WDW and available to view via the search facility (http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/villa-search.php) here on the Dibb.

Have tried it that way but it wouldn't bring any think up I wouldnt be looking to drive so hence the reason I ask if any one own one on disney it self

I have to admit it would be very difficult. Windsor Hills is about the closest and they run bus I believe to the parks, but you still have to get about to the supermarkets and restaurants.

Disney own everything on Disney property, they have timeshare on property, which are like condo's (i think) and disney call these villas. You would have to rent though of someone who owns through dvc, I am afraid I don't know much about that, but there are quite a few dibbers who are members of dvc who could help. Try posting in the accomodation section

Hmmm... not aware of any privately owned villas on Disney's land but as someone else said, the nearest thing is the condo villas.

Just wondered if you would consider driving?
It really isn't that bad??!! and it does give you an awful lot more freedom even if you stay on site! Especially if you like shopping - Like we do!! :d: :d: :d:

Dinsey will be building their own villas on site in the future (or so it seems from things I have read). Apparently the prices will be in the region of $400 + per night for a 3 bed with pool. I will see if I can find the article (not sure whether they will be ready for 2010 though).
