I don't know if there are any Birkenstock shops in Florida. However, my wife got a pair of new Birkenstocks at Costco in Glasgow for £24 - great bargain.

They are all hard at first, birkenstocks mould to your feet and turn ou to be so comfy, even when buying the same size, style etc they still feel strange at first but after a few days they get used to your feet. ;)

they sell them on QVC, but i dont suppose they are at bargain prices.
Colours and patterns are a bit bright for me but i bet they are comfy once they mould to your feet.

There is a shop in sarasota which is about a 1 1/2 hour drive from orlando, good if you want a day at the beach!

Trust me when I say there isn't anywhere in Orlando that sells them, we looked at Christmas everywhere and asked everywhere even when we went to Miami they don't seem to exist over there. I am gutted as both myself and my DW wanted a pair......
Have a look on ebay, get some great deals on there! I bought 2 pairs for my DD prior to our last trip in october 2007 (came to about £14.00 each!!) brand new in the box! Just make sure they are originals!!

I got mine from QVC, the prices aren't too bad. Sometimes have to watch for the Birkenstock TSV - that helps.

I bought mine over here, but couldn't go to Florida without them.Birkenstocks take a few hours to mould to your feet, but after that they are heaven to walk in.
Mine have been to Florida twice and are going again this year.

They are on QVc tomorrow at 4pm. Myself and my DD14 have approx 15 pairs between us, does help when you only pay 3-6quid per pair!!!! :thumbs-up :pgig: :pgig: :pgig:

Buy a size smaller! I am a UK size 5 but the 37 fits me perfectly. Bought a red and a silver pair in Costco recently for £20 each, then DH decided he wanted some men's ones so ended up going back for them for him - £30 inc tax for men's, which works out about £10 cheaper than if you buy them in Schuh or somewhere like that.

Had a look at the gizeh they look great. They don't look like your feet would flop about in them that is normally my problem with these style of shoes as although i am a size 7 my feet are quite skinny. I think i will give these a try. Thanks
