We have booked for a week in Tunisia for October half term. Staying in La Sousse at Marheba Royal Salem. Does anyone have any top tips. Bearing in mind we have booked the trip already and it is a budget trip not expecting 5 star treatment so no need to provide horror stories, I have already been on trip advisor for that

Sorry to hijack your thread Joanne but looking to go on a girl's lazy holiday to Tunisia beginning of November - does anyone have experience of the weather at that time of year?

Many thanks

Christine

Hi We have been to Tunisia twice..I love the place..there is a lot of places to see and lots to do.
Carthage..Sidi Bou Said.. Port El Kantoui..all good day trips....trips into the desert where Star Wars and The English Patient was filmed..try and get to a hammamen sp? ..it costs buttons and your skin feels like silk for weeks!!
Dont forget the souks..and haggle!!

Have a fab time..dont listen to others..holidays are what you make them.

We too have had some fantastic holidays in Tunisia, its our favourite place after Florida. There's so much to see and do. The shopping is great fun, especially if you are happy to haggle. Oh and of course the flight, so quick to get to such lovely sunshine! Have a great time x
