Columbus day sales !!!!!!!!!!!

I read somewhere on here yesterday that the columbus day sales take place on oct are they a big deal and if so is it just a one day sale i go oct 9th to oct 23rd so will i catch it ?

It is always the second Monday in october and it is only for one day.

Purchase an Orlando Sentinel on Sunday so that you can look through all of the sales papers before heading out on Monday. It isn't a huge holiday for us but anytime they can try to get people shopping they will certainly advertise some specials. The outlets usually have specials going on as well. Check the website before you go and sign up for their newsletters as they generally e-mail their coupons or special discount information a week or so ahead of the holiday.

We live just 3 miles north of Universal Studios. We've been here 2 years now. My DH is from the UK and I am American and grew up in Orlando. His turn for some fun in the sun I guess.

We've seen stores still advertising Columbus Day sales days after the actual day. Maybe just a marketing ploy, but if it brings the prices down even further, who cares! :grin:
