Can anyone tell me if there are any food supermarket websites?
I was looking for a Walmart or Publix one but can't seem to find any.
The Walmart one doesn't show food.
I'm a very sad and lonely person:(, I know, but want to have a quick look at what things I can get over there and the prices.
Staying in a villa Nr Davenport so will do a bit of a shop first thing.
I can't believe Americans can't shop online at these places???
They must have websites somewhere???
Can any one help me??:spin:

Hi,
There's a website called gardengrocer.com (http://www.gardengrocer.com)which is an online shopping service. You can browse on their site like you can on the Tesco web site, they also deliver to your resort or villa. We used a web site called wegoshop.com (http://www.wegoshop.com), which is run by a very nice lady called Marge. You email her your shopping list and you can choose which supermarket she goes to, she will then delier to you. We found it to be really useful!

Thanks Claire.
Just been on GardenGrocer and is just what I was looking for!
Are those prices about the same as Walmart & Publix or a little more, do you know?
I think I will use it to write up a list before i go.
Thanks!:spin:

I'm not sure to be honest but I would think that Walmart would probably be cheaper :) I love looking at all the :tounge: food they have :D

You won't find US supermarkets operating online shopping like in the UK. My theory is that with such easy parking, smaller queues and everyone having a car there just isn't the demand. I would expect the prices on gardengrocer to be higher than the local Publix or Walmart.

Prices look high to me unless things have gone up a lot since last year. Orange juice is $4.19, was 2 for $5 in Publix last summer.
