We have old Disney Hopper passes with days left, am I right in thinking that we can visit more than one park on each day with these? Specifically can we visit Typhoon Lagoon in the morning and then MK in the afternoon, leave for dinner then go back to MK and only have used 1 day? I just want to be sure.

On the hopper passes you have to use a "plus" day for water park / Typhoon Lagoon / Pleasure Island visits. We had old hopper passes with 2 days and 3 Pluses left. We used the plus days over our last two visits for water parks and I'll be using the 2 remaining park days for visits to MK and AK this summer.
I think as they were called "hoppers" that you could use a park day to hop between parks but you'd have to get that verified at Guest Services but you can use one days entry to visit say MK in the morning, leave then go back the same evening
On some older types of pass, the water park/etc options ran for 10 consecutive days from the first day of any usage, and then they expired.
We'd need to know the exact type of ticket to tell you how it can be used.

They say '9 day all-in-one hopper' on the back. I'm pretty sure they came with access to water parks included.

Our old hoppers had purple, turquoise and browny red backgrounds with individual pictures of mickey, minnie, donald and goofy on. We had five day hoppers with 4 extra days I think on them. ( Do yours look like this?) With the hopper days you can go into every park on the same day and use 1 day.
We used ours in 2004 3 days and 2 extra days and then in 2006 2 days and the other 2 extra days. I hope that makes sense. :)

Yep, they sure did. One of the few Disney tickets that worked that way, in fact.
So if it's a nine-day "All-in-One" ticket, then on each of the nine days you could do anything you like in WDW - theme parks, water parks, Pleasure Island, etc - with any combination of hopping during that day. On the downside, if all you wanted to do was to go to Pleasure Island for a few hours one evening, that would use up one whole day of the ticket's face value. Unused days never expired.

we used our 5 day hopper plus tickets a few years after first going,
Think the plus meant we could go to the water parks, wish i,d kept them as we used the 5 days but didnt use any of the two plus visits.
if these are the tickets then there are a certain amount of times u can visit the water parks, ours was 2 visits
