I am considering not going to seaworld this year and going to busch gardens instead. we fly into tampa so could stay a few days there and do Busch gardens . we are then off to orlando before finsihing at the beach.
we went to seaworld last february and spent two days there but haven't been to busch gardens since our visit in 1997( the children haven't been at all).
is there plenty for the children to do at Busch garden , they are 7 and 3. i know they can't do the seregenti experience etc or the roller coasters .
Can't decide , we could leave out animal kingdom instead?
oohh decisions decisons!

leave out animal kingdom?! blasphemy!!

to be honest, there is nothing notably new at seaworld since u were last there. however, there is a new coaster at busch, sheikra, and a new adventure-course type thing opening this summer. if i were u, i would go to busch instead. once u have been to seaworld twice u've pretty much done it all. busch is a good day out for the whole family imho

BG is my fav park. So no guesses as to which I would choose.

BG was fab for us last Nov. Zoo is pants and not worth considering really but the rides where great. Sheika is fantastic. We all rate it very highly. Not been to seaworl for 3 years but zoo wise its better but rides where not as good IMO.

Busch Gardens definately as you have already been to SeaWorld and are staying in Tampa. We gave SW a miss for a few years and when we went last year nothing had changed and the Shamu show didn't seem to last as long. Lots of great rides at BG even for younger children, something for the whole family and it's a great day out. Remember to take some sandwiches, drinks are refillable but can get expensive for eats if you are there for the whole day.

bush Gardens gets my vote as well. Fantastic park to visit and a must is sheika.

Yep, thats what we are planning to so as well.

While over there we are staying on Clearwater Beach, and doing the trainer for the day as well at Clearwater Marina.

Might still go to Seaworld, but so little has changed.

If you have done Seaworld and the choice is as you say, then Tampa and BG seems logical.

There's jungala opening at Busch soon.
I went to both in Feb and I infinitely prefer Busch.
Loads to do for all ages.

Eek! I can't imagine a trip to Orlando without SW but ... as you've been before then try BG. Our kids were 12, 10 and 9 and loved it there. There is a lot for everyone to see and do.

we went to busch in dec our kids are 11,9 & 2. to be honest we didn't find it very good for little one, he got quite bored there was a little play area for him but he couldn't do any of the other rides.
if you love big rollar coasters then you'll be fine.
worth doing once but personally think seaworld is better when kids are younger.

I've never really been a fan of BG to be honest. They do have some really good rides but the whole park atmosphere as a whole doesnt really do it for me. Personally I'd go with Seaworld everytime.
