London Restaurant

Hi, myself and my daughter are taking a theatre break in London over Easter, we are staying close to the Apollo Victoria theatre. Can anyone please recommend a nice (not to expensive) restaurant that is close by. A nice pub too please. thanks :wave:

I'm not sure about Restaurants, but there is a Wetherspoons pub on Wilton Road, which is opposite Victoria station. Is the Apollo theatre where they are showing Wicked, or Billy Elliott? The Wetherspoons pub is on the same road as the Wicked theatre. I would have thought that there would be a few restuarants around that area, if not, you could easily jump on a bus or tube. The Apollo is where Wicked is. Just across the park from where I work!

There are lots of pizza places around the area. There's a big glass shopping centre just opposite which has some restaurants - the usual chains like Nando's, La Tasca etc. Also you're near Victoria Station, which has a shopping centre in it with some restaurants. The only one I can remember right now is Cafe Rouge, but there are others.

We ate at Prezzo's opposite the Victoria Palace theatre before seeing Billy Elliott last week - nice meal before a great show! - and will probably go there again next week before we see Wicked!

Hi, thanks for the reply's, they were really helpful. I think we'll give prezzo's a try as my daughter loves Italian food. One more question tho. What's the best time to book the meal for, the curtain rises at 7.30 so I want to make sure we don't have to rush off halfway through the meal, sorry if it sounds stupid but we haven't done this before :blush:
