Hi All

I wondered if you could settle a disagreement with myself and DH.

In Epcot, is Future World classed as the Top or Bottom of the park? I always say that The Top of Epcot is World Showcase but he disagrees and says no Future World is the Top!!! We get very confused when talking about it especially when arranging to meet up as one says top when the other thinks bottom.

Is there a correct answer or is it just a matter of opinion?

It depends on how you look at it I suppose. If your entering from the main entrance, Future World would be on the "bottom" and World Showcase would be on the "top". On the overhand Future World is the more northerly of the two sections so in that case it would be the "top".

Why not just say front & back.

I would say that Future World is the front and World Showcase is the back :grin:

Spaceship Earth is at the northernmost tip of the park - I would say that end is the top.

world show case is top futureworld bottom. :d:

Congratulations! You are both right, depending on your point of view.

The entrance, Spaceship Earth and Future World is at the southern most end (taking a compass viewpoint), with World Showcase at the most Northern end.

From a park perspective, World Showcase is the furthest away from the entrance and could be called the top.

You pay your money you take your choice - as long as you both agree which is which.

I don't know... :erm: Looking at a map I'd say Showcase was at the top but when I'm in the park I'd probably say it's at the bottom :confused2

I would say WS is the top and FW is bottom only because that's the way it appears on the map.

can't you just meet at a said attraction instead of at the top or bottom ???????
i would have said though just for my $0.02 worth that ws was at the bottom :)
