Well done Mandy - we;re just sorting out our PS details as well - and working on our itinerary, so I'll be interested in any responses here. We've never eaten in Universal really - other than burgers and stuff, so will have to think about looking into that!

at The Royal Pacific Hotel do Character Meals (as do their other hotels on certain days of the week).
We had one in November hoping to see Scooby (I had read reports you could find him here). Unfortunately they wouldn't guarantee which characters would appear and we had Curious George (my 6 year old nephew had no idea who he was) and Woody Woodpecker. Although initially disappointed, they spent a reasonable amount of time at our table and Kieren loved it.
The menu was A La Carte though and quite pricey!

Mandy - We went to the restaurant in IOA for a character breakfast, the name of which completely escapes me, how helpful am I (it was on the corner on the right before you turn right to Seuss Landing or left to Super Hero Island)??!!!
We saw Thing 1 and Thing 2, Sam I Am and Cat in the Hat, I've a niggling feeling there are others that appear too but the morning we went it was torrential rain so maybe some had been washed away.
If you'd like more info give me a shout and I'll do my best to confuse you further!! :)
Oh, hold on a mo, if my memory serves me right I'm sure there were posters in the lift of the Hard Rock Hotel saying that there was a Scooby Doo character meal two evenings a week in The Kitchen! HTH! :)

Would it be Confisco's grill? (In IOA I mean?)
