Sky+ Reminder Banner

Hi

I was wondering if anyone can help me?? We have Sky+ but sometimes record programmes via our DVD recorder instead of using the Sky+ box. But the problem is the reminder banner, which I forget to turn off, so we end up with the reminder banner being on the recording for 10 minutes. Does anyone know how to change the time settings as we have tried looking on the Sky setup but can't find anything!!!!!

Anne, I see you also posted this on Digital Spy.
As they mention the best way is to record your programmes 'after' you have recorded to your Sky+ box.
I do this all the time and as someone mentioned on DS I usually start mine off before I go to bed and 'let it go'
