Hi Everyone, we are booked to go on our first trip to WDW in October and to be honest, I haven't a clue where to start. I know we will be going to Seaworld and want to Dine with Shamu - any ideas where the best place to buy tickets for this are and how long in advance can I buy these?
Very grateful for any advice! :)
At that time of year you could probably book it when you're there,I'm going in October myself. :D
Do Island of Adventure and make sure you do at least one waterpark,Aquatica,Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon when you're there as well as the usual Disney parks.
I fancy the behind the scenes tour at Seaworld, you get to stroke a penguin on that and it's only cheap.I never thought much about the Shamu dining experience although the Shamu show itself is brilliant, don't let me put you off though,it's still great.

Hi there,
We're going in October this year too
We did Dine with Shamu the last time we were there in July. We booked it direct with Sea World before we went. On the day we went to Sea World we just had to confirm our reservation when we first arrived at the park.

I shopped around last year for Seaworld tickets and ended up getting them from Orlando Ticket Deals, they were giving the best price at the time. Its a case of shopping around. I think I booked them a good 6 or 7 months in advance due to my impatience!

We're going at the end of October too. This time I'll buy my tickets before I get out there. You will be stopped and asked if you want tickets at the restaurants (which seem like a good price) but only if you're prepared to sit through hours of hard sell timeshare. :mickeywal :sulley :tiggerbou :goofy_bou

I envy you, there's nothing quite like your first trip
If Dine With Shamu is someting you def want to do then I would book it on line, there's no point in risking not getting a table however small that risk is.
One tip, if I may, do a basic plan of what you want to see and do and then buy your tickets based on that. I overloaded on tickets on my first trip and they cost me a lot more than necessary :confused2
You're going to have sooo much fun :spin:

Draft up a rough itinerary to see what parks you want to visit and for how many days.
Add a bit of flexibility and you'll have the basis of your ticket needs to suit your plans.
See the Dibb itinerary thread for an idea of what others are planning.

Often the best deals are for combining different parks on the same ticket. This is especially so for Seaworld which is available on a number of multiple park tickets.
For ticket deals see these places, listed in no particular order
