Hey all,

Heading to WDW in October this year. First time visit for my wife and three daughters. Was wondering on the best time to purchase theme park tickets for a trip scheduled for then?

Read some comments about how tickets prices may drop after the summer. Is this true? Or is this guesswork based on the current economic climate in the US?

Finally - where is the best (and most reliable) site to purchase tickets online?

Anything you guys can do to help would be appreciated!

Personally I'd book in the next 2 to 3 months in the run up to the peak July/Aug time when ticket sales are probably at their highest.
Only gut feeling on that call.

Hi

Im going in October as well - not our first visit tho.

I have already been looking at ticket prices and deciding the best options for us.

This week I took advantage of the US&IOA 7 day ticket price (adults and child tickets at same price) http://secure.universalstudios.com/webstore/shop/ViewItems.aspx?Merchant=UOMainOnline&CategoryGroupExternalID=UOMain&CategoryExternalID=UOTPTLive

When we first took our DDs' then aged 6yrs we did not 'dod' US or IOA but kept it to WDW and Seaworld and found that was more than enough.

I will purchase MNSSCHP in May as thats when tickets come out and will get Ultimate tickets mid-year - just to spread the spend.

Any others will follow.

hi we have went with attractionticketsdirect and paid a deposit, they say if the ticket prices drop in price then you pay the lower price, with that in mind I think you might as well book now! :thumbs-up Debbie
