It'll be my parents in laws 45th wedding anniversary whilst we're on hols this year and we would like to take them to a really nice seafood restaurant to celebrate (they're both fishy people :spin: in the nicest way).

We were considering Fultons Crab House but have checked out their menu and am worried that their none fish selections (DH doesn't do fish! or garlic! weirdo! :d: ) are a bit limited.

Has anyone got any suggestions please

not ate at many other fish restaurants, but did eat at fultons last year, like your DH , i am not a big fish eater. I had the filet steak there with the trio of mash, and it was really nice, steak was really good and tender.

The Blue Zoo at the Dolphin is very nice (same sort of price range as Fultons) but TBH the food is much nicer and the atmosphere more upscale (i.e. 'special') but not stuffy.

They've got a good selection of non fish dishes - have been a few times but went once with a non fish eater, she had the pork chop and said it was delicious. Also the portions are a really good size as well.

Have a read of Jane's report here (http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=131624) from our first visit in Dec 06 (scroll down to the 2nd/3rd post),which gives lots of piccies and a review :)

Thanks Clare

I've just checked out your trip report and the menu and I think it's definately one for consideration, the desserts look especially yummy!

We like the Flying Fish at Broadwalk.

We thought the fish was out of this world

Yup Flying Fish looks nice, but again a lack of non fishy food - maybe I'll just send DH to McDonalds while the rest of us go fishy feasting!

We went to Landry's in Feb for the first time and it was really nice. Full of locals and really nice inside, it was one of the few places that I felt I should dress up for.

It's in the LBV area opposite Bahama Breeze.

I think Coral Reef at Epcot has a balance between fishy dishes and non-fish ones.
I love it!

I was going to suggest Coral Reef in Epcot too - there's quite a good selection of non-fishy dishes, and its all really good food :thumbs-up

Fish bones on sandlake was our favourite restaurant in florida. its more or less on the I drive junction, they will mix and match the menu so you can get what you like, i had fillet steak and huge tasty crab claws, but i could have had any combination of food that i wanted. The service was great as well.

I've heard Blue Zoo is fantastic and we will be trying it this year. I love seafood - the best I have been to is McCormick and Schicks at Mall at Millenia. It's classy and has a great atmosphere.
