I'm not sure how one provides tips on how to use a restaurant, but I'll try...

Go in. Sit down. Go and get some food you like the look of. Eat aforementioned food. ;)

Your username suggests your little one is a fan of the big orange fella - she won't be disappointed. I've done several meals in the CP, including lunch, and they have all been excellent for both quality of food (and I speak as a veggie weirdo) and for character interaction. You will have a wonderful time.

Just enjoy it! I took DD8 there last time whilst Mrs Jay went and did Discovery Cove with her sister. We had a fab time. Loads of character interaction and, because there are often 4 characters doing the rounds, you never have to wait long for the next one and the "minders" make sure that tables aren't overlooked or forgotten if a character break is needed.

We had breakfast there and the buffet was excellent. We managed to get a table for 2 with a 5 minute wait with no ADR in the middle of free DDP!

Relax enjoy it and take your time. We were the last people left in our section as DS2 eats so slowly but we never felt rushed. Join the parade and take loads of photos.

Did you tell them in advance it's your dd's birthday? If not ring back or tell them when you get there and they will probably arrange a little fairy cake and candle or sparkly confetti on your table.

It's wonderful, enjoy! :)

Hi - we did this for DSS 18th birthday in 2006 and it was great! We ordered a birthday cake with Goofy on it and you can tell them what colour icing, special message etc. that you want on the cake ! (I think it was about $20 but dont hold me to that!) and all the characters came over while everyone sang Happy Birthday!! Altho DSS pretended to be a little embarrassed to start with, he has since confessed it was flippin' brill ;) We got to take what was left of the cake away with us. Would definitely recommend this for a birthday :spin:

Just remembered - he had to do a special birthday dance with the characters as well :tounge:

I think going for lunch is a good choice.

I went for breakfast on our first morning, which was fantastic, but I rushed the whole experience as I wanted to get on the rides at rope-drop.

I'm going to give character breakfasts in the park a miss next time and go for lunch instead.
