View Full Version : staying for 7 nights-DDP for 4 nights
Sorry if this has been posted before - I've had a look but can't find it.
We've booked through Virgin & are wondering about buying DDP (there are 7 of us) so we can have some really nice meals in resorts/parks.
We are staying at POFQ for 7 nights & wonder if you can do the DDP for say, 4 nights? If so would they have to be 4 consecutive nights or any 4 out of 7 nights.
From reading other posts I gather we would have to buy it off Virgin?

The DDP has to be bought for your full length of stay so you wouldn't be able to have it for just 4 nights! And if you decide to add it on don't forget you will also have to buy your tickets from Virgin as it has to be bought as part of a package!

Oh- thanks lots for that!!! Will now give the bad news to my mum as it was her idea!

It would only be possible if you make 2 reservations, but you would possibly have to change rooms ;) That way you could buy DDP for the first 4 nights (and tickets) and then 3 nights without DDP ;)

This isn't going to help, but we are spending 10 nights at the Poly and 7 nights off-site. Virgin wouldn't let us buy DDP for our Poly stay (whole 10 nights), because apparently you have to be spending your entire holiday on site.

If you were a DVC Member or booking direct with Disney that would work, but i don't think it's possible when booking through a TA! I'm sure a Dibber tried to do this with Virgin last year and was told they'd still have to buy the plan for the whole of their stay!
