Lost wireless

I updated my Internet explorer and hav now lost my wireless.. I am unable to pick up any wireless network in my range.. I know I probably have to re-set something but have not a clue.. Wish I hadn't updated now!!

Sounds like your wireless adapter has been switched off though not sure why

Some laptops have a button to enable wireless and a light that comes on, others it is switched on/off by using keystrokes, usually the blue fn key beside the shift key and there will be a blue wireless icon on one of the F keys

What make and model is the laptop?

I have a Packard bell Easynote..

I pressed all the F1 keys with the fn one but no luck.. As you can see not at all technical.. Ive lost my smilies as well?????

thank you so much.. Have my wireles back.. One last question do you know why I cannot read my messages from AOL?? whilst using my talk talk??
I usually have to use my T Mobile Web & Walk to view mail?
