What meal would you say is Typical Florida, and cannot be missed on your trip?
Is there anything you eat there that you cannot get at home, or anything you have to eat at home to remind you of holidays?
Please don't say Burger & Fries!

Proper ribs. Not like the dried up old things you get here.
Oh, and lots of lovely seafood, especially lobster. And big, big shrimps.

pancakes. american pancakes are one of the seven wonders of the world. you can try to make them yourself but they never turn out the same.
ribs and steak are a must too. and whats better than sitting in hooters with a pitcher of beer and a bucket of ribs?
i cant even look at grits or country gravy without feeling queezy though.

Buttermilk pancakes with fruit topping, you just cant beat american pancakes, ours are nowhere near as good as them.

I agree with a big stack of buttermilk pancakes, topped with blueberries, maple syrup and finished off with squirty cream - no honest, they are delicious.
Also like ranch dressing - tried similar inTescos but nothing like....

My other half will be heading straight for the `Bourbon Street chicken`, served at the buffet at Golden Corral. I will be having the carrot cake, it was so yummy.
