Is it just me

Is anyone else experiencing very slow internet when opening links or inserting smilies on the dibb. I am not having probs anywhere else on the inet. If I click onto someones post to read it, it takes ages to open. If I reply, putting smilies in is a joke at the mo. Its taking forever. Everything else on the dibba nd the internet as a whole is fine. I have a relatively new computer Duo Core with Virgin Broadband. Is anyone else having the same problem or should I start looking at my own system as to whats going on.
