Anyone been on it? Whats it like? Is it suitable for a fairly young child?
Mmmmmm? What can I liken it to? Maybe Primeval Whirl?
It's a sort of back to back clam shell so 2 are facing foward and 2 facing backwards and you spin round. If I remember right, you can't see the folk facing the other way(like if you were a party of 4 you wouldn't be able to see the other 2).
I found it really quite fast and jerky and there is one point when its all in the dark so you can't see where the twists and drops are and it has strobe lighting which adds to it all!
Can you tell I wasn't a fan? But then I'm not that great on these things. Our DD9 said no way and when I went on with DD13, I was relieved that the wee one didn't come on.
Now someone else is going to come along and tell you that it was a breeze......
You will know your kid best and when you get there, theres a viewing area where you see the people whizzing past. That will give you an idea just how fast it is :omg: When you see them ,this is just the start of the ride.
Good luck!
Ha ha! I've just asked DH what he could remember about it and he's said it was faster than he thought and very jerky. Not much to see was the other comment.
So I'm not as wimpy as I thought!
Maybe not one for your youngster after all.

It will definately depend on your child. It does spin and it is quite fast and as already mentioned it is dark in places.
My boys are 7 and 5 and they both enjoyed it but they are used to going on TOT and other thrill type rides so they didn't have a problem with it.
The ride is similar to Dragons Fury at Chessington in the way the car(clam) spins and turns.
Great ride but only you know if your child could cope with it.:thumbs-up

Yep, you need to get there first thing if you want to ride it. The queue was over an hour when we were there last.
My niece who is 7, finds Dragon's Fury & Spinball Whizzer a bit too intense, and they are the same type of ride, basically without the themeing.
As Leanne said, it really depends on what your child is like, some love the thrills and some hate them. It's also worth checking if they are tall enough, the height requirement for the UK coasters is 1.2m, so I would expect that it would be fairly similar.

Ooh I'm looking forward to this. But not the queues. Will definately be one to do in the morning. :thumbs-up

I can do Hulk, Dragons, ToT etc. but there's no way you'd get me on this again!!!!! I hated every second of it and as Leanne said it's Dragon's Fury at Chessington dressed up as a mild mannered Turtle!!!! :erm: It spins, it goes backwards fast and it's mostly in the dark..............oh! and it's high!!! :confused2
Having said all that, it depends on the child as always. :thumbs-up

I have to admit I thought it was a kiddies ride and didn't really investigate it too much. Imagine my horror when it started heading upwards, spinning me round and coming down backwards!!! :erm: Thank goodness the children weren't with me. :pgig:
I laugh now. :d:

This happened to me too - thought it was going to be very tame. I hated it. However my kids were with me and they loved it.
