Hi
I am planning our trip and I was wondering how long it take to see all of animal kingdom. I am asking cause my oldest daughter want to eat at rainforest and I'm not sure if to book a lunch and then go back in or do dinner on way out.
Thanks
You will need a full day to see everything at least, personally i would book for the evening but thats just because i dont think i could eat a large meal then GO back walking round the park !

You will need a full day - we tend to eat at lunchtime to have a rest and then go and do something quiet like a show or it's tough to be a bug to let lunch go down.

Hi, :spin: It will take a day, if you try to rush it you won't enjoy all there is to see. Try to get there as early in the morning as possible and do the safari first, then do a couple of rides and after stop for lunch. Once you are all fed and watered watch a show. Then carry on going round. :spin:

Since AK tends to close quite early, I would go for a dinner, as if you stop for a 2 hour lunch you might not have enough time to see everything before closing.

This is really good advice. ;)
It does take a full day for AK (in fact we usually go back during our stay) :pgig:

We always eat at Rainforest at lunch whilst doing AK, never once felt like we had missed out although I have to add we never do the rapids (always a massive queue) and never been since Everest opened!
we had breakfast at rainforest cafe in animal kingdom and loved the theming of the restaurant . animal kingdom can be done comfortably in a day. :wavey:

I would say you definitely need a whole day to do AK at least.

We managed to do AK by 4pm. We saw all the shows and done all the rides. There is a lot of walking as it is a big park to get round. We never went to Rainforest cafe but I would pick to go for tea, as like some other dibbers say if you have lunch then you may not get round all the park by closing.

I get the impression that AK is not really a 2 day park.
Is this because its not as good as say MK or EPCOT.
or is it just that you feel youve done it all and its not the kind of park you want to rush back to
I have planned to go twice but am going to change my plan for optional second visit and see how we feel at the time.
I always feel that that AK is the one park out of the 4 that i sometimes go to just because it is there
It is one good day out and no more

There is also a Rainforest Cafe at DTD, so maybe you could consider that. I think there is also going to be a dinosaur theme cafe opening soon as well.

We always go to AK twice, there is loads to do there and its a beautiful park, if you are an animal/nature lover you can easily spend 2 days there, but if you are more there for the main attractions, I would say you will need at least a full day so would schedule Rainforest cafe for your evening meal :)

Same as above a whole day in AK
It can take up to half hour to be seated at rain forest as we found on two occasions last year

We do several half days at AK and atill havn't done everything. We usualy end up drenched on the rapids as they always send us round several times as loading/unloading DH takes a while.
