Take 2 Bring Back 4 or 5!!!!

So many of you go out with say 2 suitcases but come back with double that (or more)!!
What do you buy? Mainly clothing, what else?

We are a family of four and we usually take 3 or 4 out and 6 or 7 back!:blush: :D

We like to shop and bring back our bargains. We spent loads in the Timberland shop getting all our winter warmers and boots etc.

But the kids also buy loads of things too. But the last 2 times we have been it has been my youngest DS's birthday so we buy all his pressies there and have to get them all home.

Its all good fun. Except when your cases are over the limit and you have to repack at DTD, DH didn't enjoy that!!:nonono: :d:

We usually come back with lots of clothes, shoes and cuddly toys! :wave:

We usually buy cuddly toys, Nike traines and clothes from the retail outlets; DD16 and DS13 also the discovered the Converse shop on our last trip; Christmas decorations from the Christmas Shoppe; Precious Moments ornaments from the Art of Disney; oh and 2visits ago we bought a complete bed set and drapes from Target for DD's recently decorated bedroom :blush:

Normally buy a lot of clothes, a couple of pairs of trainers each and then some odds and sods....kettles (don't ask, it seemed a good idea at the time!), lots of large bottles of Aussie shampoo and conditioner which is much cheaper than over here and lasts me a couple of years till I go back again.....and anything else that takes our fancy! :d:

I buy a lot of craft stuff, which is mainly lightweight but bulky so I need large bags (not those under my eyes! :cool2: )

We take out a few cases but its not a patch on what we bring back. We bought a few holdalls in Walmart for $15 each and the fact that they were light, strong and held a multitude meant that we could put loads in them. So the fact that we had three bags out and eight bags back, should tell you how much we bought.

We go out with 3 and come back with far more fully packed 4! We pack an extra one in the others.

Filled with clothes, souveneirs, mementos - anything really!

We usually take our 2 large cases with 2 inside and the kids small disney ones and bring them all back full ~ last twice we have had to purchase more :o:

We usually buy clothes and boots/shoes/trainers along with gifts for Christmas or birthdays for family members.

we alway bring back more then we go with mostly cloths and shoes and last year we came went with my uncul and antie and there 3 year old dauter and they came homew with a pull a long suitcase full of cuddle teddies.

We normally take 3 with us, one each, half full but have always had to buy more due to the trainers and clothes we buy over there. Is also DS birthday ever time we come back so its great to buy birthday presents that no one else has ;)

We always go with two small ones inside our large cases, yet somehow need to rush out on the last night to buy another large case.

Usually clothing especially winter woolies for coming back to Scotland.

We had to buy 2 more ,ours were filled with Converse,Merrells,clothes ,DD7 Bratz,oh and a few more Converse not to mention half the Hot Topic shop stock !!

We always come back with double the suitcases we go with, we tend to buy trainers/shoes, T-Shirts/all sorts of clothing items that we can't get over here and are cheaper in the US and Yankee Candles. We might buy a soft toy for friends babies or something but not very often these days :wave:

I'm guessing you guys fly with Virgin or BA then?!
We're flying First Choice this year so our limit is 1 case @ 23kgs (star class premier) per person :confused2

We usually fly Virgin or BA, and probably will in future, as FC luggage allowance is TINY!! :(

we always take a suitcase each, 4 of us, but they are only half full when we go and then we always end up buying more! We bring back clothes, shoes, handbags, especially my daughters they shop till they drop in the boxing day sales. Craft stuff, hair spray, shampoo, conditioner, electric replacement toothbrushes plus cuddly toys. We always go to cracker barrel as well as they reduce all the christmas stuff and my mom loves singing xmas stuff, so we buy that as well. This year we bought back my daughters prom dress, half the price we would of paid in the uk.

we always have to buy more cases, dh is a wallmart junkie and buys a lot of weird stuff like massive big torches(cant get them here that big he says)stuff for polishing the car, screws, nails, masking tape,he buys more trainers than is humanly possible for one person to wear ,golf shoes, most of the shirts in the timberland shop,he even goes to toys r us to bring back stuff for the grandchildren that you cant get here(havnt the heart to tell him you can get the same stuff here), i like to bring home towels from wallmart they seem to last for ever still using ones i got in 1998, they are dusters now but still going strong,o and we need 1 very big case for all the soft toys from the disney store, as we are going in sept this year was thinking about doing a wee bit of xmas shopping this time, think we better leave a trailor with the car at glasgow airport this time. o happy days.

We bring back Clothes, Trainers, Sandles, Bed in a bag x2, sheets, (ive bought curtains before now to match the bedding) food, cds, loads of diy stuff for dh, you name it, if we like it and it will go in case we buy it lol
