The last time we went here it was really run down and with loads of empty shops. :confused2
Does anyone know if it has been demolished and if so what has taken its place? Or has it been revived with new shops (what sort) ?
Thanks
Linda :wavey:

I have never been in here, never really fancied it TBH.
Am I missing out? What sort of stuff do they sell?

We stayed at Oak Plantation Resort directly opposite in 2004 and it was not a bad mall at all. We drove past that area last year on our way to Forever Florida and it was all very run down with all restaurants closed. The Mall itself looked to be still open, although what state it was in, I do not know.

Last year when we where there, they had a few shops like foot locker, bealls, steve and barrys a shoe shop and a few other places.......i think it was this mall not to sure though
There's a good site called deadmalls.com which has info on malls like Osceola which appear to have fallen into disrepair.
Had considered going to it as we are staying near there this year but decided against it after reading the deadmalls site.

Hi,
I was there in September and it was very run down and I remmember thinking the Beals, and the Ross dress for less (you can now include the Burlington outlet) places might be interesting - but not for me. I also thought the Belly Dancing Academy right in the middle of the mall was interesting (maybe for different reasons :D ).
If I remmember correctly the two places I'd visited in 2005 (a music shop and a chinese restaurant) had closed down.
Also I travelled there on a lynx bus - I believe lots of lynx buses stop there (workers connecting to other services I think noone seemed to have been shopping) - and was very evidently the only tourist there. This wasnt a problem last time I went but in 2005 there were some young lads mucking about and I really wanted to be somewhere else (happens everywhere I know).
So maybe those 3 shops might make it worthwhile - if I lived there i'd check it out - but if youve a limited time don't bother. I was only in Orlando for a week and definately felt like I'd wasted a day - gutted! :stupid:

Went there last week, it's not the biggest mall in Orlando but it's OK.
There is a Steve & Barrys, Bealls, Bealls outlet (great prices), Ross (very much like TK Maxx), Burlington Coat Factory, 2 internet cafes, a gym, hairdressers & other small shops, oh, and a food area.
Like I say, it's OK, not the best, but you may find a few bargains in Ross or Bealls outlet.
