View Full Version : Walking times at Epcot?
How long does it take for a (fast) walk between Test track and Soarin?
We can't decide which one to do first :confused2 and they are at opposite sides of the park :erm: - we'll be there at rope drop and don't know whether to go left and ride TT then go straight to Soarin, ride it if the line's short or get a fp if it's more than about 20mins, or do the complete opposite. Which one is quickest to get to from the entrance and which has the quickest moving lines?
We're going on Saturday 3rd May - a low crowd day in all the guides I've looked at.

Don't think its more than 5 mins but I'd always go for soarin anyway and still get fps for later
I would go to Soarin' first as that seems to 'sell' out much more quickly than anything else.
We went straight to Soarin and grabbed a Fast Pass and then went on Nemo while we waited for our time to come up.
It's probably 5 minute walk if you walk quick, they aren't really on opposite sides of the park, TT is just behind MouseGear, if you walked through MouseGear (that would slow me down considerably due to window shopping), then you are in the main plaza and Soarin is just behind Innovations. Soarin' is downstairs though.

I would go for Soarin first, get Fastpass and do normal line. Then head over to TT and queue in the single rider line. Of course, this does depend on the ages of your party, as little ones would not ride on their own.

Head for Soarin' first, it's what the majority there for rope drop will do. The walk back to Test track will only take 5 minutes or longer if you are going against the crowd. Test track often has technical problems and may not even be open first thing. It's the less popular of the 2 rides and more likely to have fastpasses left later in the day. Even at Easter when the parks were heaving we were able to hold fastpasses for both these rides by doing as I've suggested.

Hi
we get there at rope drop twice ... we went straight to Soarin to grab a Fast pass then onto ride Test Track, by then Soarin FP time was ready :)

I would definitely go for Soarin first and get a fastpass for test track
Go for Soarin' first for sure.
(I reckon it will be closer to 10 mins than 5 as once you get to the Pavilion housing Soarin' you need to get in there, walk around the top, go down an escalator and then to the attraction itself.)
