Me and dh were thinking of going back to WDW in October 2010 with dd's who will be 17 &15 then, for 3 week. My best friend has asked if she could join us with her dd who will then be 13. I said of course she could. She is a single parent so i fully appreciate that it will be a struggle for her so.......I wondered if there were any hotels on I-Drive that had 3 bed suites as i thought it would work out cheaper for her than booking two rooms? We then plan to stay in a 3 bed villa for the remaining 2 week. Has anyone booked flights for 2010 or is it too early?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Is there any reason that you dont want a villa for the 3 weeks. I thought it would work out cheaper to have a villa for the 3 weeks. With vigin I dont think you can book only flights before 333 days or 11 months roughly in advance I dont know about their holidays.

The reason for 1 week on I-Drive is that dh won't drive on holiday so the last time we went we did 1 week on I-Drive to do universal, SW and BG. Then we had a villa at Indian Wells as this seemed to be the nearest place to stay to do Disney. We used taxis every day and found it ok.

I'm not sure about I-drive, but the Omni does 3-bed suites and it looks fantastic value with fabulous facilities. Only problem is distance to the parks

Thanks for that it does look fab but distance isn't the only problem, it's the cost, just over 2k for 1 week :omg:

Why won't your dh drive on holiday? I'm assuming neither you or your friend drive either?

He tends to drive a lot here in the uk and hates it with a passion, so he refuses to drive when on holiday. He said not driving is one of the best parts of his holiday, and no, me or my friend don't drive either. :(

Bahama Bay may be an option as it runs shuttles to the Parks and malls.... x

I know that they run a bus to the disney parks from the Windsor Hills resort and I am sure that some of other villa resorts do so as well.

Would i be right in thinking that you have to pay for the shuttles that run from the communities? If this is the case, thats why we thought that if we could find a 3 bed place on I-Drive with free shuttles it would be a cheaper option.
