View Full Version : Enclave Suites?
Recommended or not? I am trying to plan a girlie trip over to Orlando for new year's eve this year, and thought it would be good to have a bit more space than a hotel room, but none of us drive, so it would have to be close to good transporation, so i am considering the Enclave Suites... has anyone stayed here before? If so, what did you think?
Thanks!

Hi :wavey:
I stayed at the enclave suites in 2006, and you can't beat it for location. IMOH it could do with being updated as the deccor is a bit naff and looking a bit dirty now. But each apartment is pleanty big enough with a balcony, and ours had great veiws over wet & wild lake.
Don't count the free brekkie as much though, you only get a muffin, apple and small juice.
We have paid a little more this year and staying at the Homewood suites, but I would stay at the Enclave again.

The 2 -2 bedroom suites have plenty of room. The balcony was lovely, watching the sun come up/down and be part of it BLISS. The view was over the lake or the pools. I enjoyed staying here it is an ideal location and i would stay here again. x

I have stayed at the Enclave Suites the last 2 years. It has served us well. It's incredibly dated and a bit tatty but the important things were clean and the staff were very nice. I would not hesitate to go back. The location is superb for non drivers. The baclony is a bonus. There was plenty of room.
I'm sure there are better places but for what we paid it was ace! What about Staybridge Suites on I Drive? Pool area is not as nice but they get good reviews. We considered there last time.

we stayed there a few years ago and had a few problems , mainly with a leak, and a dirty kitchen, but i've read more good reveiws than bad ones about the place, so maybe we were a bit unlucky.
location wise its great, tgi's just across the road, good sized rooms, great on the balcony at nights looking over the lake, short walk to I Drive, so good for transport.

It depends how many bedrooms you will need - the enclave suites are all individually owned condos as far as I'm aware and it hasn't got the best write ups on trip advisor but for a few days I'm sure it's fine.
We'll be staying at the embassy suites Jamaican court - they are all one bed suites, which is opposite the Wyndham on mid I-drive, it's the perfect location and you get full cooked brekkie and free cocktails in the evening, of which I will be partaking purely for research purposes you understand. ;)
The part of I drive below sand lake road is a bit "nicer" than the top end imho.

Hi
I was originally booked to go to a hotel in kissimee but we couldnt go due to a hurricane in that area. So our travel agent booked us in to the Enclave Suites. :mad2: . First we were put into one building where the pool was dirty and cold. We asked for a change in room but got attitude from the staff. However eventually we got moved. The hotel staff didnt really care about the customers and only really cared about the money. The rooms were badly cleaned and there was mould at the back of our fridge. One person even complained of a toilet leak. The complimentary breakfast is an apple a muffin and orange juice so is a load of rubbish. A member of my party actually fell ill in the resort. There is access to the roof but wouldnt recomend it. The air conditioning doesnt work either. After one phone call they cut off the service until we paid them. We paid the money to speak to our rep and see if we could move hotel but there was none available. The pools were rarely cleaned either.
The reveiws that i have seen are rubbish.
Type Enclave Suites Reviews into google and you will be told all you need to know.
Dont go.

Hi,
Sorry to say we hated this hotel - it was shabby and we had to change rooms twice as things were wrong (doors hanging off cupboards, windows stuck closed, toilet not flushing and a leaky shower to mention a few!!)
However, the location is excellent, tthe staff were friendly and helpful. IMO it just didn't warrant the 3 1/2 stars it had and as such we were really dissappointed with it.

i agree with the last few just got back today , and we found the hotel dated and shabby, in our( first room) we had numerous problems, blocked toilets, broken and noisy air con broken tv no remote for tvs. broken door , lights not working, safe broken, sink broken, carpets wet and smelling, rusty extractor fan in kitchen , fridge that made a noise like a tractor broken side board, and as the bedroom furniture was so packed into room ,you couldnt shut door to bedroom and just about get around bed, will try and put pics on when i do full report , as room 2 was only slightly better
