Hiya, has anyone ever been allocated one of the above? I'm wondering what it was like, and would love to see any photos if you have any, and the most probable location if there is one.
Thanks fellow dibbers.

Yes, well i just got a quote over the phone so I hope so.
There is no probable location is there? I thought it was just allocation on arrival, depending on what homes were available and not booked privately?

I see, i've always booked direct in the past but having to book complete package with VH as using tesco deals tokens. Was just wondering. I'm sure it will be fine where ever.

It wil be allocated on arrival - if you want to chooe your own villa and your own location, then try renting direct from an owner.

I understand that, just wondered if anyone had a past experience and possibly had some photos, in the past we have booked our own independently so have know what we were getting. But this time we are booking using tesco clubcard deals so have to book complete package to get the benefit and wondering what to expect.
We know we are staying at Highlands Reserve but not which villa until arrival.

We stayed in a VH superior villa 4 years ago and it was superb. Can't remember which area but the villa literally backed onto a lake and we could swim in the pool and enjoy the wonderful view.

Is your villa at highlands reserve a "superior villa"? They look lovely and if we are allocated one there then that will suit me! :)

We came back from Florida today and stayed in the standard villa with Virgin and have to say I was really impressed with them.
Have booked for November with Clubcard vouchers and am going to the Regal Palms but may change to the Highfield Park Villas as I love Villas now.

I don't think it was superior when we booked but I believe it is advertised as all superior villas now so fingers crossed :thumbs-up

Hi
Did the "Superior Villa" with Virgin bit last year in May. Stayed out by Champions gate which is great for the I4, but very quite (I would say that only 1 in 5 houses were occupied), and nothing there at all apart from the houses.(suited us but might be too quite for some)
On arrival, we had to go to the Virgin welcome place on H 27, where they gave directions and key.
Only anoyance was that the local house rep insisted on seeing us the next day to sign more forms, and didn't arrive till 12.30, so half a day was wasted.
Overall though, great villa with everything we could have wished for.
I have photos of the house, but I'm new to Dibb so not sure how to send them.
Going back in 3 weeks time, but this time staying at Highlands, as we missed having somewhere to walk in the evenings. If the house quality is the same that will be great

I'd love to see your photos maybe someone can offer you advice on how to post them for us all to see. Did your villa have a games room?

The "problem" with booking a villa through Virgin is that you will never know what you'll end up with. Even if 100 DIBBers replied to you with photos of the villa they had, most likely yours will be totally different. Virgin use a batch of local management agencies, and basically cream off anything that is going for your dates - they wont even put a request into a mangement agency until 3-4 days before you arrive.
They probably have several thousand villas that are theoretically at their disposal - Virgin dont "own" them or have anything to do with them at all. They will give the management co a list of requirements - superior usually means its has more than 3 beds, upgraded fittings and within 10 miles of WDW. You could be allocated anything that fits that criteria. Villas are all different - even ones on the same complexes so to be honest, looking at pics of a villa Virgin allocated to someone else, wont really help you.
We have stayed at 3 villas on Windsor Hills for example - 2 were the same "design" of house but the fit outs were completely different!
Rest assured though, that most villas are stunningly beautiful and Im sure you wont be disappointed! If you arent happy, then first complain to the management co then your virgin rep - whatever they say, there WILL be other villas available.

We stayed in a Virgin superior villa last month. We were on Highlands reserve. We did the same three years ago too. Both times the villas were very good quality. The position of last times was better (it backed onto the golf course) whereas this years one backed onto the neighbouring trailer park. Last times was all on one level. This years had 2 bedrooms and bathroom upstairs, as well as a landing/den area with 2nd tv. Large lounge with big tv. Master bedroom with tv, dressing area and ensuite. tv in 2nd bedroom too. Pools were same size 8-10ft.
The other family we were travelling with were allocated a superior villa on Westridge. Bit annoying not being on same estate, especially as we requested same areas if poss, but there you go. They had a 4 bed villa (even though they had paid for a 3 bed one)
Similar quality to ours.
Key collection place was easy to find on the 27. Rip-off charge for pool heating tho. They wanted $175 for 5 days heating. We told them to forget it!
When we found a snake our pool (arghhh!!) they were quick to send someone to deal with it.
very quiet estates. Highlands is closer to the publix and restaurants thean Westridge.
HTH.
i have some pics, but have no idea how to put them on here!
