Hi all

Its looming very quickly and this will be our first POFQ visit, so I Just wondered if anyone who has been would recomend either a particular block or room numbers, we are having two rooms and would require a connecting door, other than that as quiet as possible would be top of the list so I feel far away from the pool may be wise, I will be contacting the hotel closer to my visit to make my requests.

Thankyou for any help.

Try this website which has been put together by Andre.

Should have everything you need to know about POFQ & POR.

Some bits are still being developed, but there is some excellent information on there and some brilliant photos.

Hi David
I've just phoned POFQ with a room request and asked for a corner room on 2nd or 3rd floor block 7,6 or1 which are the furthest from the pool. Thought block 7 would be quite good as you are then quite close to POR amenities too. Fingers crossed that they can oblige

Hi Guys

Sorry to butt in on your thread, are the corner rooms just for kingsize or do they have 2x queen size as well, would love to book one of these?

Thanks

I phoned 0014079345000 and just said I was coming to stay on Thursday and could I make a request for a room. No probs.

Obviously only a request nothing certain. But she was very nice.

Thanks for the help, I agree with your thoughts Jayne, after looking on Andre`s superb site I felt that blocks 1, 6 and 7 would suit me too.

Thanks again

David

Glad I could help, hopefully what I've written does make some sort of sense then! :)

The best thing is to make sure your request is logged along with your booking first, and then about 2-4 days before arrival (definitely not more than 5 days out) give the resort a call or fax them to re-confirm or try flattery and pleading. :)

We stayed in block 5 on the top floor on the side away from the Pool and it was perfect. No noise from the pool and literally less than a minute from door to pool or food court. Nice view of the garden area and the river in the background.
