Its the racetrack as you go to the TTC on the way to MK.
If you are going to do this hope it doesn't rain as you don't get a rain check and no refund either!

DS1 did this August 2006. I booked the earliest time for him so there would be less chance of rain and because it would be cooler. He really enjoyed it and loved driving the car himself; he was just 18 years old then.

It's next to the MK, DH is booked to do this a week tomorrow. He doesn't know about it though as it's for his 40th birthday. I booked the Kings experience and it cost me about £357. If you book it though don't book it direct with Richard Petty book it with Mercury Travel they are so much cheaper.

Hi
I booked the drive along experience for Wes last year and he did it during our trip in October. This experience is basically being driven around the track 4 or 5 times. He thoroughly enjoyed it, I hated it!!!
It is at the bottom of the car parks at MK, you go to the left instead of the right!! I was going to do this for my dh but then I decided against it as it would have meant me and ds2 hanging around waiting for him and my ds would have been a little bored waiting!! ;) :D
It was featured on the Channel 5 "Fifth Gear" programme a month or so ago with Tiff Needel (sp?) doing it. If you do a search you might be able to find it on the internet somewhere.

Quite fancied this as a passenger until I read that you have to be able to climb in through the window - no way my fat bum would get through:)
