We've never been but have always fancied going each trip and then run out of time and never made it!!!!!!! Would be good to hear some experiences - perhaps we'll find time this trip!!

Same here, I've watched in interest as they build more and more rides there wondering if it's worth a trip but we never usually have time! Has anyone been recently? I must admit it just looks like standard funfair rides as opposed to the theming etc available in the other parks.

I think a few people have been and have said it is a pleasant if very relaxed day out.
The pace is very slow compared to the main orlando parks

We went 2 years back (just before the waterpark bit opened). It was so quiet and relaxing - we literally walked on all the rides without queuing! The place is not too big, so you can see it all in a day. There are only a couple of white knuckle rides - my children (who were 3 and 5) were able to go on most things. The gardens are beautiful, and they had a little butterfly house too. The animal section was not really worth seeing, but they might have improved it since we went.
We will definately return on our next holiday. I see on their website you can get an extra day free (if you return within 6 days).

Hi
We went last September and we thoroughly enjoyed it!
Not all the rides were running but with it been so quiet a member of staff walked with us and opened any rides my boys wanted to go on, which was brilliant :spin:
And the nice thing is at the end of the day you can chill in the water park area and cool down!
Needless to say we are going back this September :wavey:

we are thinking of going this year, we have not been since '99 when we got married there, so a wee trip down memory lane ;)
now we will have kids with us so is there a lot for them to do, they are almost 7yrs and 4 yrs, and what is the water bit like coz they love splashing about.
also I have had a look and found tickets at $30 per adult and $28 per kid, is that a good deal?

Exactly our boys ages so perfect for the rides here  I am sure they will enjoy it.
Where did you get the ticket prices from they seem very good value :thumb:
The water park area has a pool section ,an adventure playground type bit with bridges, ropes etc, lazy river and a few slides I think. Perfect after a days riding :thumbs-up

Looks just fine for a day out, anyway have a look at Billy Boys tickets and Orlando Fun Tickets, they both have decent prices, i have used Billy Boy before and they were fine, thanks
We go to Cypress gardens almost every time we visit.
My FIL thinks its great as you have to go past Dundee to get there(they're from Dundee). So cue "oh look Dundee!" every time we go.
Don't go expecting big rides and thrills.
But if you have younger children, like more of an older style park, with beautiful gardens, children's rides, free concerts, water shows, and rollercoasters that almost anyone can ride, then this is a great place.
Last time my 4yo and I literally stayed on the coasters, going over and over again.
Great fun and worth the drive.
Haven't tried the water park yet though as it always been too cold.

:spin: We went last year in March for the first time. As the others have said it's a nice day out away from the hustle & bustle of some of the other parks. The water ski show on the lake was very good.
There is a water park attached but we did'nt go in there. :wavey:

We went in Jan 07, very relaxed park, the place was empty, it was so empty it was embarrasing as the ride operators virtually followed us from ride to ride to operate them, the model railway is fantastic. The rides are tame and not scary at all.
Worth a visit, but if the place is empty you will be done in a couple of hours.
