Golf - Where to book tee times?

Have found some good prices on teetimeusa. Has anyone used this website to book?

Should I book before I go to Florida or will it be cheaper to do over there?

Have been looking at:

Celebration ($48.69pp on teetimeusa)
Highland Reserve

Any other recommendations for courses that are not too testing!

To be honest you could wait until you get here but if you need a certain time on a certain day you might as well go ahead and book the tee time. We are overrun with courses here in Orlando so you won't be short on choice that is for sure.

Take a look here (http://www.orlandoinfo.com/golf/) from some good information and course locations.

When you do make your tee time (if you are flexible with time) ask if they have any specials on or if there is a twilight rate. Generally they may have a M-T rate or a reduced rate at twilight.

I have used teetimesusa before and they were fine, no probs, albeit nowadays I use teebone.com, they tend to give slightly better deals for the courses i play ;)

They shouldn't be too bad. Love Bugs are actually attracted to black top and motorways because of the heat and oil. You may see them but they shouldn't be a problem.

Try to avoid wearing white or using scented lotions or perfume/cologne. That attracts them to you.

Thought Celebration Golf Club was not to long but very challenging. Very imaginative and beautifully laid out. You have got to drive well off the tee on most of the holes as there is quite a lot of carry to reach most fairways! The course when we played in March 2007 was in great condition. If you are pushed for time they do something called super twilight prices after 4.30 which is great value and at that time of the year and you will probably squeeze in 14 holes before dark.

Falcons Fire Golf Club. Very well manicured but very expensive and quite boring. Would not go back.

Will depend what time of year you are there but if its September you shoul dhave no problems booking on the day or day before

I literally booked all my rounds last August the day before play

We had a little more difficulty this March & APril but with so many courses to play you should be able to get on somewhere

Apart from Celebration which I do enjoy, try and play Shingle Creek for me its one of the best, along with Falcons Fire, but very expensive, also played Ridgewood Lakes this time and that was in good condition, and would recomend Crooked Cat, & Panther Creek up at OCN

Championsgate is a good course, prefer the national to the international which for me is too much like Uk courses (if thats possible)

We stayed at The Sanctuary West Haven which is literally a 5minute drive across the road from Championsgate, and probably only 10mins from Reunion
