Just wondering whether Wide World of Sports is worth a visit this year? Our boys love all types of sports and the place does look interesting but I'd like some Dibbers advice before we decide to visit.

I'd be really grateful of some opinions. :thumbs-up

Obviously depends on when you're there, what's on! We went when we knew the Miami Dolphins were playing "practice" against Tampa Bay in pre season American Football, one August. Awesome sight as squads played attack/ defence against each other. Cheerleaders there too!!

Also going on was the under 11 American School Basketball finals which were great to watch as whole communities were there supporting their teams. There was a footie competition on too!

I went with a friend a good few years ago, and really didn't find that there was anything to do there. We were dropped off at the Wide World of Sports in the morning by my friends parents, while they went off for the day. We went in, luckily the turnstiles were not working so it didn't class as an admission. We had a walk around for a bit, there was some team practicing baseball, but that finished about a minute after we sat down, then we had another walk around and there just didn't seem to be anything there. The NFL experience had nobody in it, the only thing that did seem to be going on was some martial arts competition, which we couldn't get into. So we decided to leave, about 20 mins after entering and went to MGM for the day, and got the bus back there to get picked up later on.

I would say it's probably worth a visit if you know there is something going on that you can watch, but if there's not, there's no real reason to go, that I could tell.
