Hi All - can anyone please tell me the "dress code" for nights out such as Arabian Nights/Medieval Times etc?
I know that Orlando is very informal but - what to wear?

Shorts and t-shirts are fine for all but the most upmarket places. If I was changing I'd maybe wear cropped trousers or a skirt and a blouse, but whatever you wear to the parks is OK for the evenings too.

I remeber going to Dolly Parton's one year and got dressed up. Big mistake I felt so out of place eveeryone else was in shorts and t shirts.
I always take a light jacket or cardigan though as the air con can be extreme at times.

I agree, everyone is really informal. We went to the Pirates Dinner Evening once and everyone was in shorts and t-shirts. DW feels the chill from the aircon and takes a cardigan with her.

Very casual. In Florida it is generally very casual in most places. Very few require anything more then shorts.

I would also recommend taking a cardi - when my Mom and niece went they were freezing :omg:
They were glad to come out for a warm ;)

I was going to recommend a jumper as well. I take one anytime we go to a cinema because it is always very cool in our buildings.
As far as dress code casual is the standard at most places. I certainly wouldn't let it stop me from getting dressed up a little bit better though. I like to make the most of the nights out and if it is a special occasion then why not? Here in Orlando you will see a mixed bag anywhere you go just make it what you want it to be.
